From the Desk of Pastor Sadler...

August brings us to a special time of transition. Summer is still with us—flowers and gardens are growing, families are enjoying vacations and time together, and children are making the most of their final weeks of summer fun. At the same time, we are beginning to look ahead as our children, families, teachers, and school staff prepare for the start of a new school year on August 24.

As we prepare for new beginnings, we continue to carry with us the joyful message of our Vacation Bible School theme, God’s Laboratory: Fusing Elements for Explosive Joy. John 15:11 reminds us that the joy we receive through Christ is meant to live within us, be seen in us, and be shared with others. We invite you to continue sharing that joy through worship, fellowship, service, and care for one another.

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” (KJV).

Upcoming Special Events

You and your family are invited to join us each Sunday. We were tremendously blessed during our Revival on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 @ 10:30 AM, where Reverend Tim Latiff was the guest preacher. Also, we will celebrate our Annual Men’s Day on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026 and Dr. Ron Stanley, Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church and Vice President of Central Mission Union Men’s Ministry. This service also begins at 10:30 AM.

As summer begins to wind down and a new school year approaches, let us enter this season with joy in our hearts, care for our health, compassion for our neighbors, and prayer for every student, parent, teacher, and school communitybeginning a new year.

May we continue to have joy, show joy, and share joy wherever God leads us.
